As a summer comes to a close, it’s time to look a head to the fall season. Fall is one of those magical times of year where we gain fashion inspiration from the nature that surrounds us by emanating those natural autumn colors and forms.This year is no different as we discuss some of this season’s upcoming trends.
Patterns
Zig-zags and other interesting patterns on sweatshirts are definitely in this fall. Don’t be afraid to bust out your knit sweater that your grandma made you with that weird design – you won’t get shunned for it, but rather praised for your fashion taste this year.
A-Line Skirt
Time to put away your mini-skirts you were flaunting all summer and add a couple inches to your skirt length. These skirts will make a fashion statement wherever you go if you decide to get them in a bold color or stay conservative with a simple black palette. Always classy yet flirty, a-line skirts are an essential part to your fall wardrobe.
Autumn Colors
Warm, neutral colors usually rule this time of year like burgandy, mustard yellow, orange, etc. Think of the colors you naturally see this time of year with the leaves turning various colors, and try to replicate that in your outfit.
Clothed Shoes
The fall season is all about shoes. Flats, boots, you name it, people are wearing it. Shoes made from cloth that match your sweatshirts and jackets are a season must-have this year. Faux fur, wool, knit, etc are what you’ll be seeing everyone parading around on their feet.
Jacket
No outfit would be complete this fall/winter season if you didn’t wear a jacket! A classic piece to any fall attire, a correctly fitted jacket can make people go from “ooh, that’s a nice jacket” to “ooh la la! look at her outfit!”
